Health Communication Digest – March issue available

The March issue of Health Communication Science Digest (HCSD) is now available on the Gateway to Health Communication and Social Marketing Practice.

It includes articles that examine components of health message design and presentation; emerging issues in health literacy; effective health communication interventions, such as a multi-level intervention designed to change parent and child obesity-related health behaviors among Latinos and a study to reduce negative body esteem self-perceptions among 8th grade girls; important aspects of new media in public health initiatives (text message, Twitter); and health information use across diverse audiences.
