“Life, Interrupted” & other organ/tissue donation stories

The New York Times has a new author on its Well blog, Suleika Jaouad. In Life, Interrupted, she eloquently describes her life as a young cancer patient (diagnosed at age 23) with acute myelogenous leukemia in words and videos.

Locally, there will be a film screening of The Power of Two on Thursday, 19 April. The film focuses on the personal lives and experiences of people in the US and Japan who have been affected by organ donation. For more information about the screening, click here.
