Videonovela helps educate Spanish-speaking patients with type 2 diabetes

AHRQ has launched Aprende a vivir, a Spanish-language videonovela in 3 episodes.  Its entertaining style helps educate people with type 2 diabetes about medication adherence, food choices, and better communication with clinicians.

  1. I love these type of creative, innovative and culturally relevent public health intervennttions. A group called CREA Results in Denver is doing something similar in partnership with Telemundo with more general public health messages aand links to resources. Thanks for sharing!
