Social media & the aftermath of recent storms

Both residents and officials used social media to communicate, whether scenes of empty refrigerators, spoiled food, pleas for help, or ways to keep cool, to information from Rutgers on food safety,  the city of Arlington, VA, on the location of cooling centers, and power companies to pass on progress in repairs.
