Prevention Research Center update – Nutrition and obesity

From the CDC:

New Research in Brief:  The PRC Program’s Nutrition and Obesity Policy Research and Evaluation Network (NOPREN) produced a supplement to the American Journal of Preventive Medicine examining policies and processes that promote healthy eating.

New Publication:  PRCs’ NOPREN examines policies for promoting healthy eating and reducing consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages.

New Achievement:  Researchers at the Harvard University PRC developed an Out of School Nutrition and Physical Activity Initiative (OSNAP) to increase water drinking, healthy eating, and physical activity in afterschool programs.
